CAFE: Permanently Closed

We closed the Karl’s café on March 19. 2020 when COVID 19 hit Massachusetts hard.

Since then we have had many family discussions about the market and the café and how to move forward.   Originally the café was a simple place to enjoy a sausage platter for families.   Then the beer came along and so much more… beer dinners and seasonal specials, etc.  Over the years we have shared many a beer, family celebration and travel memory with you.  As I am writing this, I am missing seeing so many of you and catching up on the latest travel story.

We are so grateful that our small café became the place that you gathered for celebrations -big and small.  Bob and I want to thank you for including us in your family stories.

At this point the path forward for Karl’s does not include any plans to reopen the café.   Our space was always too small and is now impractical given the new health concerns.   What feels right is to focus on the market moving forward.

Thank you for your support and smiles over the years in the cafe- we look forward to many more years of service in the Market.
